Well, does my dog love me or not? This is a question that many dog owners, myself included, wonder when our dogs look at us with big eyes and cozy up to us. I go back and forth on this question, wondering if Iām living with a 4-legged opportunist or whether he adores me every waking moment. As it turns out, researchers at Emory University have come up with an answer. As Juliana Weiss-Roessler writes in Cesars Way, “It may not come as a surprise, but research confirms what most of us know from experience: dogs do experience feelings of love and affection.”
In a short segment from a longer piece on 60 Minutes, learn what researchers have found. You can watch the video (1:57) below.
