Hello! I am John Richardson, aka John the Dog Walker. I am a resident of Capitol Hill for more than 16 years and a dog and cat owner for most of my life.
My best friend is Marley, a goofy Golden Doodle who loves everybody and everything. In addition to the pet care services I provide, I am also a professor at American University, where I teach in the school of international affairs. Because of my flexible schedule, which allows me to work from home, I am usually on the Hill both day and night. As I walk around Capitol Hill, I have become friends with many dogs and cats, who often play in their front yards.
Though dogs are territorial and bark like crazy when another dog approaches, in my experience, I have found that this behavior is instinctual. Very quickly, I can see the true dog, often wagging his rear while carrying on in the front. Mostly, they just want to be loved.
I know from personal experience that your pet is part of your family and as such, you want the comfort of knowing that your pet is well cared for, whether it is on a walk or while you are away for an extended period. I promise to give you the comfort of knowing that your pets are well cared for and will be happy throughout the day and night. Feel free to call me if you have any questions about myself or the services that I provide.
